Nk’Mip Cellars, North America's first Indigenous-owned winery and a stunning place to taste. Moon Curser Vineyards, bold reds and the best labels in the valley, minutes east of town. Adega on 45th, small-lot, family-run, gloriously unhurried.

The Golden Mile Bench & Black Sage Road (15–25 minutes)

Hester Creek, old vines and Mediterranean warmth. Tinhorn Creek, a benchmark of the Bench with valley views. Burrowing Owl, an Okanagan icon on Black Sage Road.
