The best beaches in Osoyoos (and how close we are to each) - Park Inn by Radisson Osoyoos

Osoyoos is a beach town at heart, and its beaches each have a personality. Here's how they compare, measured from our front door at 9130 Main Street.

Gyro Beach, the local favourite

A 14-minute walk. Soft sand, roped swim area, playground, and big shade trees for the hottest hours. If you have kids, start here.

Legion Beach

North of the bridge, quieter and popular with locals, with picnic tables and easy access. A short drive or a pleasant lakeside walk.

Cottonwood Beach

A calm, residential-feeling stretch on the east side, good for a low-key morning swim before the day heats up.

sẁiẁs (Haynes Point) Provincial Park

Five minutes south by car, a sandspit reaching nearly across the lake, so you're surrounded by warm water on both sides. Arrive early in July and August; it's beloved for a reason.

Every beach day ends the same way for our guests: rinse off, then a swim in the courtyard pool or a soak in the hot tub. Pack half your beach gear and borrow towels from our front desk.

Stay with us: Park Inn by Radisson Osoyoos puts you minutes from everything in this guide, with free breakfast, free parking, and a courtyard pool waiting at day's end. Check rates for your dates.
